Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hendzel of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the engagement
of their daughter, Jean Wally Hendzel, to Sp/4 Gregory Sromek, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Sromek of Gilman.
Miss Hendzel is employed at the Milwaukee Road in Chicago, and her fiancé is
stationed in Vietnam at present with the 1st infantry division.
Greg was sent to Hawaii for Rest and Recuperation for a week in September and
Miss Hendzel flew out there to meet him, where they were engaged.
No definite date has been set for the wedding.
