Thanksgiving Day guests at the Orville Manier home were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Potter and children of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mohr and family of Aurora, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Mohr and family, Grandma Mohr, Miss Betty Mohr and Larry Vitort, Miss Kay Mohr and a girlfriend.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Swope and children of Glen Ellyn, Ill. Spent the weekend with the George Paap's and Mrs. Catherine Godke.

Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Gibbs and family of Sturtevant, Wis. spent Wednesday and Thursday night at the Carl Brandt home and they spent Thanksgiving Day and Friday with Lavern's parents, the Reid Gibbs at Lake Wissota.

Mr. and Mrs. Junior Gilbert and family of Waukesha and Mrs. Nellie Gilbert spent Thrankgiving Day with the Lyle Gilbert's.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pewalko and family and Grandma Horban of Lublin, Wally Horban and Pete Horban and a friend of Chicago were supper guests at the Joe Horban home last Sunday evening.

More lucky hunters from this area are Orville Manier with an eight point buck, Bart Brandt with a party deer and Don Miller, a spike buck.

Mrs. Anna Paap spent Thanksgiving Day with the Henry Hanson's.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Sharon Phillippi spent Thanksgiving with the Wilfred Shilts family.

Bob Brandt and a friend of Kenosha spent the weekend with the Bart Brandt's and hunted in this area.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Rotter and children of St. Paul and Jerry Manier were Saturday evening guests at the Orville Manier home . Jerry Manier spent several days with the Orville Manier's and hunted in this area.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brandt and children of Minneapolis spent Saturday with the Carl Brandt's.

Mrs. Butch Lockhart spent Thanksgiving Day at the Joe Horban home.

Mr. and Mrs. Butch Lockhart have moved their trailer house to the Paul Lockhart farm and are living there now.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Ryniec and Gary and Robbie of Janesville spent the weekend at the Don Miller home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Mohr and family and Grandma Mohr were Sunday dinner guests at the Orville Manier home in honor of Mrs. Wilfred Mohr's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bart Brandt were Saturday evening supper guests at the John Brandt home in Thorp in honor of Bart Brandt's birthday.

Sunday guests at the Charles Nitz home last week were Kenneth Nitz of Tomah and Dennis Nitz of Eau Claire. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon LaMarche and family were Sunday evening visitors in honor of Charles Nitz's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henderson and Debbie and Billy and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Reppert and Iva Jean were Sunday dinner guests at the George Owens home in Eau Claire in honor of the baptism of little Jodi Lyn Reppert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reppert of Eau Claire, and granddaughter of the Vernon Reppert's of Stanley and George Owens' of Eau Claire.

Mrs. Mary Krueger of Sparta spent the weekend at the Ton Miller home.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Brandt visited at the Harry Smith home Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller were Thursday dinner guests at the Jess Winkler home at Cadott.

Mr. and Mrs. Bart Brandt visited Anna Paap Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reppert and Jodi Lyn of Eau Claire called at the Joe Henderson home Friday evening.

About twenty-five members of the Social Circle and their husband attended their annual Christmas banquet at the Badger Inn Saturday evening. Art Samuelson showed slides of the Samuelson's trip to Alaska following the banquet, and a pleasant evening was enjoyed by all.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes visited at the Joe Miller home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Bart Brandt spent Tuesday in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Henke and David of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. John Wozniak spent Sunday evening at the Don Miller home.
