James E. Krarup, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Krarup, route 1, Owen (Clark
Co.), Wis., was commissioned an Army Second Lieutenant on completion of the
Ordnance Officer Candidate School at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., Nov. 22.
During his 23 weeks of training, the lieutenant received basic officer
instruction at Ft. Knox, Ky., and finished his schooling at Aberdeen, where he
received ordnance training in weapons, combat vehicles, supply, maintenance
management and leadership.
