New houses are being built for Jerome Stremikis, Jr., Jack Volovsek and Bernard Artac.

Haying is in full swing in our community. The weather has been favorable the past week and the hay crop is very good.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Verhunce of Chicago, Il., are spending some time at a cottage at Rock Dam.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Klapatauskas and Paul of Cudahy were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Doepke of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dolpke of Marshfield were weekend visitors at the Julius Klapatauskas home.

Lawrence Suda has been a surgical patient in a Marshfield hospital since last week.

Mrs. Donna McFarlane entertained in honor of the birthday of her daughter, Donna Marie. Games were played and a lunch was served.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koschak of Waukegan, Il., last week visited relatives here and stayed in their summer cottage at Mead Lake.

Miss Kokaly of Stevens Point was a guest of her mother, Mrs. Hannah Kokaly and family recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wentland of Greenfield recently, visited Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gregorich and Mrs. Mary Gregorich.

Monday Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich and son, Bob, were guests of Dr. and Mrs. James Ulesich and family in Menomonie.

Mr. and Mrs. John Peglow of West Allis, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brezovnik of New Ulm, Mn, spent some time here with Rose Stamcar and Mr. and Mrs. John Stamcar.

Mr, and Mrs. Milton Jurcek and family of Berwyn, Il., are staying in a cottage at Mead Lake and visiting relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Vandy Suda of Gurnee, Il., Mr and Mrs. Edward Langfeldt of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Celesnik of Cadott, visited recently with Mr and Mrs. Ken Horn, Sr.

Mrs. Dora Fortuna and Carol Bayuk of Marshfield, spent a day last week with Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock. Mr and Mrs. Joseph Bayuk visited there Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krembs and family of Huntsville, Ala., spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. John Lesar, while Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lesar and children of Milwaukee were weekend guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Pozega and Sheila of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega, Jr., and Brent spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega, Sr., and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Schwarze of Greenwood were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock.
