Skaleski, Martha (21 JUN 1886 – 04 JAN 1968)

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Skaleski, 81, formerly of Lublin, were held Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church at Lublin. The Rev. Buba officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Skaleski died Thursday at Stanley where she had made her home the past five years.

The former Martha Jeslinski was born in Brown County on June 21, 1886, and was married to Frank Skaleski there in 1902. Ten years later they moved to Taylor County, settling in the Lublin area. Later they lived at Thorp and Owen.

Surviving are six sons, Victor, Withee; Bernard and Albert, Thorp; Joseph, Downers Grove; Anton, Des Plaines, Ill.; Raymond, Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. C. Ebben, Thorp; 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
