Glasshof, Richard J. (31 MAY 1945 – 21 DEC 1967)
Richard J. Glasshof, 22, of 305S, East Irving Ave., Oshkosh, was killed when his
car was struck by a train at 8:18 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Glasshof was born May 31, 1945 in Eau Claire, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Russell Glasshof. He attended schools and graduated from Chippewa Falls High
School in 1963. He also attended the vocational school in Eau Claire, and moved
to Oshkosh two years ago. He was employed by the Morgan Door Co., Oshkosh, as a
bookkeeper.
Richard was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. He is
survived by his mother, Mrs. Jacob Bowe, and step-father, Jacob Bowe, of 727
Water St., Chippewa Falls; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Marlene) Katz, Chippewa
Falls. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Glasshof.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hogseth-Pederson
Funeral Chapel, with Rev. A.T. Blom of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
