Edgar celebrated it fifth anniversary.
Rev. Bill Christiansen, LCMC, of Stevens Point, is guest speaker at the

The congregation began its history by meeting in the Wien Town Hall on November
8th of 2009 to start a new and independent Lutheran Church.
A building was purchased in 2010 and expanded in 2013 to include offices and
Sunday school rooms. A prayer garden and cemetery were recently dedicated.
The church now serves a congregation of 194 members and offers a full range of
activities, with the Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. along with Sunday school, adult
Bible study, children’s choir, adult choir, Bible studies, a book club, youth
group and a women’s group.
Hope Church’s stated mission is to teach the Bible and follow Christ’s example
by giving back to the community and those in need.
There will be a Thanksgiving service at Hope Church at 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving
Day. All are welcome to attend.
Hope Church is sponsoring a theatrical performance by Jonathan Swenson,
professional actor and ordained minister, of Paraphrase Theatre, during the 9:30
service on Sunday, November 30. The performance is titled “Celebrate the Child”
and is in honor of Christmas. The public is invited to this free event.
On January 16, and 17, 2015, Hope Church is sponsoring a marriage and
relationship seminar to which the public is invited. The seminar will be
conducted by Brenda Spina, a licensed Christian marriage and family counselor
