Wedding vows were pledged Saturday, July 7, at the loyal United Methodist Church
by Miss Pamela Gene Flint of Rt. 1 Chili, and Michael D. Zvolena of Rt. 2 Loyal.
The Rev. Gene Carlson officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. Parents of the couple
are Mr. and Mrs. Eugene A. Flint of Avon Park, Fl., and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Zvolena of Rt. 2, Loyal.
The bride’s gown of Cluny lace over taffeta was styled with long sleeves, a high
neckline and satin ribbon trim at the waistline. Complimenting the gown was a
white picture hat trimmed with matching ribbon. She carried an arrangement of
white orchids and carnations with green ivy as she was presented in marriage by
her father.
Miss Kathleen Tasse, Marshfield, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
David Tellock, Curtiss and Mrs. Theodore Zvolena, Marshfield. Their empire waist
gowns, fashioned of a delicate tracery of pastel-flowered white lace bonded to a
white background, featured long, puffed sleeves and high necklines. The maid of
honor’s flowers were white daisies and pink carnations, and the bridesmaids’,
white daisies and green carnations. The carnations matched the accent colors of
their gowns.
Theodore P. Zvolena, Marshfield, served as bestman. Groomsmen were David Tellock,
Curtiss, and Jesse Zvolena, Verona. Ushering duties were shared by Dave Walter
and Jack Kadolph, both of Loyal.
Soloist at the wedding was Mrs. Henry Grottke. Miss Bonnie Meissner was the
organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Village Plaza in Spencer.
The bride is a graduate of Avon Park (Fla.) High School and of the Business
University of Tampa. She is employed in the data processing department of a
Marshfield manufacturing firm. He husband, a Loyal High School graduate,
