Eisenmann, Rev. Joseph F. (- 3 July 1973)
Funeral services were held Friday noon at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church,
Marshfield, for the Rev. Joseph Eisenmann, 78, a former pastor of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church here. A native of Marathon, Fr. Eisenmann died July 3 in
Marshfield where he has been living in retirement since 1961.
Fr. Eisenmann served a number of Catholic churches, including four in the la
Crosse diocese. His final pastoral assignment before retirement June 8, 1961,
was to St. Mary’s in Neillsville where he observed the 40th anniversary of his
ordination to the priesthood in June of 1960. He came to St. Mary’s June 4,
1957, succeeding the Rev. Peter Leketas.
