Mead, Leighton (? - 14 July 1973)

Relatives have received word of the death of Leighton Mead, 60, of Tucson, Az. He was the son of Mrs. Sadie (Rose) Seiwert and the late Ed Mead.

Mr. Mead was born in Neillsville and moved as a child to Waukesha. As a young ma n, he moved to Tucson, Az., for reasons of health. He died Saturday morning following a lingering illness. Interment was Monday in the South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson.

Survivors include his wife, Emmy; one son, Stan; and his mother, Mrs. Seiwert. He is also survived by two aunts, Mrs. Gladys Gillard of Neillsville and Mrs. Hugh Selves of Black River Falls.
