Fredrickson, Anita M. (2 DEC 1967)
Miss Anita Marie Fredrickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Fredrickson, 722 N.
Franklin St., Stanley, was given in marriage by her father to Clarence James
Turenne, son of Mrs. Mildred Turenne, 413 W. Main St., Thorp, during a 12
o'clock noon nuptial ceremony, Saturday, Dec. 2 at St. Bernard's Church,
performed by the Rev. Francis Brockman. Bouquets of royal blue carnations and
white gladioli graced the altar.
The bride entered the church wearing a floor length gown of peau taffeta
enhanced with appliques of re-embroidered Alencon lace. The A-line skirt was
highlighted by a removable Watteau that swept into a chapel train. Her bouffant
veil of sheer illusion was secured to a double crown of pearl crystals. She
carried a cascade of white roses and carnations.
Mrss. Kenneth Goodman, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Miss Julie
Wald, friend of the bride, and Miss Toni Lobacz, niece of the groom, served as
bridesmaids. They wore royal blue velvet floor length gowns that were enhanced
by a back panel of satin. Their empire waist featured three quarter length
sleeves with ruffles of Venetian lace.
Each wore a pillbox of bunny fur, to which short veils were attached. Each
carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and royal blue carnations on white
bunny fur muffs.
The bride's mother wore a royal blue and white suit. She was presented with a
corsage of white roses and blue carnations. The groom's mother was presented
with a corsage of yellow roses and wore a brown suit.
Best man was Kenneth Goodman, brother-in-law of the bride. The groomsmen were
Walter Lobacz, nephew of the groom, and Ronnie Fredrickson, brother of the
bride. Ushers were Kenneth Lukasiewicz of Janesville and Gary Klewicki of
Cudahy, both friends of the groom.
The wedding reception and dinner were held following the ceremony, for
relatives. A wedding dance and reception were held for friends in the evening at
St. Hedwig's Hall at Thorp. Mrs. Dale Fredrickson, cousin of the bride, was
hostess of the reception, and Miss Carol and Susie Lobacz were in charge of the
guest book.
The couple flew to New Orleans for their wedding trip.
