Nelson, Olaf (25 JUN 1892 – 21 JAN 1968)
Olaf Nelson, 75, route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday at Our Lady of
Good Council Nursing Home in St. Paul.
He was born in Town of Thorp, Clark County, June 25, 1892, and spent most of his
life in the Eidsvold area working as a cook in the lumber camps.
Survivors include two brothers, Henry, at home, John Prince Albert,
Saskatchewan, Can.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Lee, route 2, Thorp, and Mrs. Helen
Allard, Waupaca.
Funeral services were held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, Wednesday
at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Carl Peters officiating. Burial was in the Eidsvold
Cemetery.
