Tom Tomkowiak, a junior at Wis. State University – Eau Claire, has been named to
the position of editor of the Spectator, the university newspaper. The
announcement was made last week by former editor, Vonna Jean Johnson, Eau Claire
senior.
Tom, a graduate of Thorp High School, is majoring in journalism and minoring in
English.
He is enrolled in the Marine Corps Reserve Officer Training program. Tom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Tomkowiak, route 1, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
