Wisnewski, Edmund “Mundike” E. (20 FEB 1932 - 25 NOV 2014)
Edmund (Mundike) E. Wisnewski, 82, Elkhorn, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at
Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.
He was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Edgar, son of the late Joseph and Regina (Myszka)
Wisnewski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He
had a successful career in sales with Bell and Howell that moved him across the
country prior to his retirement. After retirement, he settled down near Medford
to realize his lifelong dream of living in a log cabin in the woods.
He enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and the UW Badgers.
Survivors include his five children, Michelle (Chuck) Stoflet, Regina (Bill)
Gurgle, Dawn (David Sherbula) Wisnewski, Edmund Wisnewski Jr., Wayne Wisnewski;
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Jean) Wisnewski,
Lorraine Nowicki, Norbert Wisnewski, and Marvin Wisnewski.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Wisnewski.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Poniatowski. The Rev. Robert Streveler presided. Burial was in the parish
cemetery.
