Chesmore, Jessica (Newman) (? - 19 DEC 2014)
God gained an angel as we said our goodbyes to Jessica Ann Chesmore. Her
eight-year battle with cancer came to an end December 19, 2014, while she was
surrounded by loved ones at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Her story will continue to be told by those who hold her in their hearts. She
had undeniable strength that simply inspired a person to want to try harder and
love more. She was a beloved wife, a mother with limitless love, and a best
friend who can never be replaced.
Jessica was a proud mother of Vanesa (John Goode) Newman, who is currently
attending Hamline University; Megan Chesmore, who melted her mother’s heart
during her show choir performances; and Lucas Chesmore, who just started his
Altoona Railroaders football fun. Jessica was a happily married wife of 15 years
to Jeff Chesmore.
Survivors of Jessica Ann Chesmore are grandmother, Charlotte Lambert, Schofield;
mother, JoAnn Frie, Arizona; brother, Kyle Newman, Crevitz; aunts, Judy Laub,
Mosinee, and Jill Newman, Schofield; uncles, Jeff (Leslie) Newman, Madison, and
Jay (Tammy) Newman; cousins, Tammy Faries, Becky Lindner, Heidi MacEachern,
Callie Ward and Heather Newman; and special friend, Jennifer Struensee.
Other survivors include Terry and Cathy Morrow, Colby; Becky (Jeff) Hall, Thomas
and Tyler, Edgar; John (Tina) Huml, Stratford; Sean (Mandie Martine) Huml,
Wausau, Brandon (Lisa Rennhack) Huml, Chloe and Riley, Marshfield; Christian
(Olivia Auberg) Huml, Edgar; Kelly (Don Gajewski) Chesmore and Jamie Smazal,
Poniatowski; Casey Chesmore, Makenna, Lita and Deion, Altoona; and Shane
Chesmore, Colby.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Francis Becht, in May 2014.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Zion
Lutheran Church in Colby. Rev. Mark Neumann will preside. Committal service will
be held privately at a later date. A time of visitation for family and friends
will be held on Saturday at the church in Colby from 9 a.m. until time of
service.
Family and friends would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Muslim and the
Regional Cancer Center staff and also the staff of 2North at Sacred Heart
Hospital.
Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Spencer is assisting the
family.
