Hauge, Emma (? - 8 July 1973)

Funeral services for a former Neillsville resident, Mrs. Emma Hauge, 88, of the Grand Army Home at King, were held July 11 from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Hauge, who died July 8, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

Pallbearers were: Elliot Warlum, Jake Fitzmaurice, Fritz Quast, Melvin Marg, Byron Glass and Franklin Zickert. “Just as I am” and Abide with me” were sung by Mrs. Harold Mayer. Victor Lehmann was the accompanist.

Those from out-of-town who attended the services were Mrs. Gretchen Ampe, Mrs. Howard Hasz and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hempel of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Marce Foster of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. James Foster of Merrillan, Mr and Mrs. Howard Padrutt of Cross Plains, Mrs. Martha Belter of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quast of Milwaukee and Mrs. Lawrence Pinno and Mrs. Ed Haney of Fond du Lac.
