Looker Family (Reunion - 1973)
A reunion of the looker family was held Sunday in Wildwood Park, Marshfield.
Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lang of Garden Grove, Calif., and
his mother, Mrs. Opal Lang of Anaheim, Calif., and the latter’s’ sister, Mrs. W.
A. Mavis of Concord, Calif. They arrived Thursday. They were joined Monday in
Greenwood, by another sister, Mrs. Velda Mertens of Stanley, and spent the day
with their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart.
The four Looker sisters left Tuesday for Wausau, to spend several days at the
home of another sister, Mrs. Orv Matzke. It has been about 30 years since the
five sisters were together.
