Pagelsdorf, Lucille E. (9 MAY 1920 – 29 DEC 2014)
Lucille E. Pagelsdorf , age 94, of Loyal, passed away on Monday, December 29,
2014 at Neillsville Care & Rehab, in Neillsville. Funeral services will be held
at 11 am on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Loyal United Methodist Church, in
Loyal. Rev. Patsy Roe will officiate and burial of cremains will follow in the
Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 9:30 am
until time of service.
Lucille Elizabeth Jensen was born on May 9, 1920 in Marshfield, WI, to Anton
"Tony" and Susan (Felton) Jensen. She was raised in the Marshfield area, where
she attended Ebbe Grade School and graduated from McKinley High School in 1938.
Lucille was united in marriage to Harold Allen Pagelsdorf on November 15, 1939
in Neillsville. She farmed with her husband in the Town of Sherman, rural Loyal,
until his death on November 13, 1975. Lucille continued to live on the farm
until her son, Bill, took over the operation of the farm. She continue to live
in the Town of Sherman until entering Neillsville Care & Rehab on September 19,
2014.
Lucille was a former member of the Clark County Homemakers and she enjoyed
dancing, bowling and flowers.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia (George) Stumpner of Loyal, Carolyn
Hinker of Greenwood; 9 grandchildren: Mike Stumpner of Loyal, Ed (Peg) Stumpner
of Loyal, Gayle (David) Kronberger of Neillsville, Kristine (Joe) Aumann of
Loyal, Mark (Marit) Stumpner of Wausau, Scott (Jennifer) Hinker of Wausau, Chad
(Cindy) Pagelsdorf of Loyal, Shelli (Greg) La Barre of Eau Claire, Susan (Kevin)
Yeske of Auburndale; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, William in 1999;
two brothers: Lloyd and Floyd Jensen in infancy; and her son-in-law: James
Hinker.
