Greenwood (26 July 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Treankler of Santee, Calif., returned here after spending a week with relatives at Dixon, Il., Cudahy and Jefferson. Mr. and Mrs. Treankler are spending several months with relatives here and in the surrounding areas.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Kuester and family of Eau Claire spent Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox. Sharon Kuester, who spent the week with her grandparents, returned to Eau Claire with them.

Mrs. Olive Newman, who spent a week with relatives in Plymouth, and Mrs. Alice Perkins, who visited in Milwaukee with her sister, Mrs. Sadie Jacobson, and daughter, Betty, returned Saturday.

Mrs. Henry Smith and her mother, Mrs. Anna Duell, visited Sunday with relatives in Ashland.

Hugh Cox returned to Janesville Monday after a weekend visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox.

Miss Hazel Danielson of Chicago is spending some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson and with other relatives and friends.

Miss Karla Hoffman of Spring Valley visited Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Alice Speich. Miss Hoffman, who was an interim teacher here, last year, has accepted a position in the Waupun School system.

Friday guests of Mrs. Alice Speich were Mrs. Elsie Blunck of Minneapolis and Mrs. Walter Blunck of Withee.

The Wednesday afternoon Bridge Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Cox Wednesday.
