Manthei, Mildred M. (2 DEC 1939)
Miss Mildred Manthei, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Manthei of Marshfield, and
Clarence Hell of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage on
Saturday, Dec. 2, 1939 at St. John's Parsonage at Waukon, Iowa. Rev. F. Kjorlang
officiated.
The bride wore a grape wine costume suit of nubby wool trimmed with black fur.
She wore black accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
Mrs. Eldred Berg, Greenwood, the bride's twin sister, attended as matron of
honor. She wore a street length dress of grey with black accessories and a
corsage of gardenias. Eldred Berg was best man. Both men wore dark suits and
white carnation boutonnieres.
After January 1st Mr. and Mrs. Hell will be at home to their friends at Loyal
(Clark County, Wis.).
The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
