Kaczor, Julie Ann (Marriage - 21 July 1973)
Wedding vows were exchanged July 21 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville
by Miss Julie Ann Kaczor and Timothy William Smith. The Rev. Charles D. Brady
officiated at the 12:30 p.m. ceremony. The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Kaczor of Rt. 2 Neillsville, was presented in marriage by her father. Mr.
and Mrs. Ivan W. Smith, Rt. 1 Onalaska, are the groom’s parents.
For her marriage, the former Miss Kaczor chose a gown of nylon organza trimmed
at the waist and bodice with Venise lace and reembroidered lace. The dress was
styled with a scoop neckline, full, bishop sleeves and a full Venise lace
trimmed skirt sweeping into a chapel-length train. Her fingertip veil was
trimmed with reembroidered lace. Yellow roses and white carnations formed a
colonial bouquet.
Bridal aids were Linda L. Schoen of Eau Claire as honor attendant and Pat Schoen
and Darla Kaczor of Neillsville, Judy Shove of La Crosse and Norma Anderson of
Crystal, Mn, as bridesmaids. Their halter-top gowns of pastel blue, green and
gold print were complimented by arrangements of blue, white and gold carnations.
The groom was attended by Lawrence Shove, La Crosse, as bestman and mark Smith
on Onalaska, Gary Miller of Neillsville, Robert Popenhagen of La Crosse and John
McCann of Holmen as groomsmen. Daniel J. Kaczor of Neillsville and Thomas A.
Smith of Onalaska served as ushers.
Soloist Randy Dillinger was accompanied by Lindsay Taliferrio on the organ.
Bali Hai supper club was the setting for the reception.
A 1971 graduate of Neillsville high School, the new Mrs. Smith graduated from
the Eau Claire Technical Institute in 1972 and is employed at St. Francis
Hospital, La Crosse. Her husband is a 1971 graduate of Onalaska High School and
is an employee of a Holmen equipment company. A home in La Crosse awaits the
newlyweds.
