Noetzel, Mr./Mrs. August. H. (Gold – 7 APR 1946)
Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Noetzel celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at the
home of their son Grover in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sunday , April 7, 1946.
Mr. and Mrs. Noetzel, who had been in business in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)
for the past forty years, spent the winter in Florida. Mr. Noetzel ran a
barbershop business in the building now owned by Louie Vogel, and later ran a
general merchandise store, then a filling station and later the Variety Store,
before retiring. He was also on the school board for many years. Mrs. Noetzel
was active in Red Cross work and many other civic enterprises.
They expect to return to Greenwood the latter part of April.
They have two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Lawein of McIntosh, S.D., Ambrosia
of Ohio, and one son, Grover, of Philadelphia, Pa., and one grandson, Merrill
Lawein.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending best wishes for many more
years of happy wedded life.
