James McConnell Sr. underwent an operation at St. Joseph’s Hospital last
Thursday.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Preller at the Greenwood Maternity Home, on Sunday,
Oct. 20, 1946, a baby girl.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Plaman of Owen, at the Greenwood Maternity Home, on
Sunday, Oct. 20, 1946, a baby boy
Herman Buehler Jr., 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Buehler Sr., had the
misfortune to badly cut his left leg and crushed the bones in his foot, as well
as small abrasions on his right leg, when he got caught in a cement mixer.
Mrs. Martha Dillenbeck received a cut over her eye when she fell on the steps of
the Baird store last Saturday.
The 1 1/2 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gertz of Willard, got her fingers in
a pump jack last Tuesday and badly injured two fingers.
Ronald Sonderegger had the misfortune of cutting his left leg badly with an ax
last Friday while cutting wood.
Mrs. Sophie Martens cut the end of her left thumb last Tuesday while cutting
wood.
Mrs. Johanna Woepse was a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, last
week.
