Cook, Orin (? - June 1973)
Funeral services were held July 2 in St. Paul for Orin Cook, a former Columbia
area resident. Mr. Cook was employed in a St. Paul postoffice until his
retirement. He was active in American Legion work and the Capitol City Barracks
Post, No. 438, had a Memorial service for him.
His survivors are his wife, Elsie; sisters Helen (Mrs. John Ralston) of
Rockford, Il., and Mrs. Alice Mcquin of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a brother,
Leslie Cook of Granton.
Mr. Cook attended our Columbia Old-Timer’s picnics until ill health prevented
his attendance.
