Mrs. Tony Buker of Willard visited Mrs. Jack Conklin Tuesday.
Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer and Miss Thelma Palmer attended the funeral of
Harold Norrish in Rock Falls Monday. The Rev. Palmer conducted the service.
Ronald Reineke of Boyd spent the weekend at the Arthur Reineke home.
Miss Carol Mayenschein and three girlfriends of Greenwood are touring Canada and
the Black Hills.
Mr. and Mrs. Christ Makiewicz of Sussex and Mr. and Mrs. John Brantzieg of
Menomonee Falls visited at the John Bizjak home Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ingham and Cindy and Mark and a granddaughter, Kelly Morris
of Beloit, spent the weekend at the Charles Tieman home. Mark Ingham stayed for
a longer visit.
Mrs. Bud Kile of Owen and Mrs. John Kile called at the Lottie Morrison, Curt
Mayenschein and John Bizjak homes Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Stremikis had their son, Steven James, baptized Sunday.
Visitors last week at the Hugo Kuehl home were: Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Daines of
Onalaska, Mrs. Chester Daines and Mrs. Jack Conklin.
Mrs. Harold Palmer and Mrs. Pirl Burrington called at the Ralph McIntyre home in
Elk Mound Wednesday.
We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Chester Daines in the loss of her son, Ronald on
Thursday of last week. He was well known in this vicinity, as he had lived near
here for many years.
Visitors at the Chester Daines home were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pavloski of
Wisconsin Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Daines of Milwaukee, Robert Daines of Yorba
Linda, Ca., Mr. and Mrs. James Daines of Menomonie, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Daines
of Onalaska, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Reineke of Eau Claire, the Rev. and mrs. Harold
Palmer, Mrs. John Bizjak, Mrs. Arthur Reineke, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison,
Mrs. John Kile and Mrs. Pirl Burrington.
Reuben Burrington and daughter, Jackie, of Albertville, spent Friday night at
the Pirl Burrington home. Jackie will be staying the rest of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cesafsky and family of Lynchburg, Va., and Mrs. Joe Cesafsky
of Eau Claire, visited at the Collins home Wednesday.
