The Junior Choir of the West Side Church of Greenwood will present a Service of
Candles and Candle Lighting at the church this Sunday, Dec. 21, 1947 at 8:15
p.m.
Following the prelude, the processional by the robed choir and the invocation by
the Rev. J. Klingeberger, the service will present, “The Light of Prophecy”,
“The Light of God’s Glory”, “The Light of the World” and “The service of
Lights”, in the order mentioned.
The following constitute the membership of the West Side Choir:
Sopranos – Gladys Kuester, Eileen Kuehn, Evelyn Noah, Eldora Reineking, Lila
Richmond, betty Richmond and Mrs. Eldore Humke.
Altos – Bernelda Noah, Elvera Reineking, Marcella Abel and Jeanette Humke.
Tenors – Ervin Steiger, Larry Vollrath, Elmer Humke, Orlin Fravert and Paul
Humke.
Bases – Arvin Liebzeit, Eldore Reineking, Harold Humke, Leroy Fravert and Norman
Noah.
Organist – Mrs. Alvin Albert
Director – Mrs. J.C. Klingeberger
The choir will make it first appearance in their choir robes at this service.
