Artac, Mr./Mrs. Mike (40th - 5 MAY 1947)

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Artac celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at the West Side Hall, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.). The couple were surprised by a party given in their honor on Sunday, June 1, 1947. Supper was served to about 200 relatives and friends. A large bouquet of carnations and also many lovely gifts were presented to them by the group. The evening was spent in dancing with the music furnished by Volovsek’s Band.

Mr. and Mrs. Artac were united in marriage at the Mother of God Catholic Church, Waukegan, Ill. on May 5t, 1907.

They have two sons, Frank of Greenwood, and Ludwig at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Ivan (Angeline) Ruzic of Greenwood; Mrs. Jennie Igouske and Mrs. Ernest (Emily) Haug, both of Milwaukee. They also have eight grandchildren. All of their children were at home for the celebration.
