Val Jeras spent Tuesday in Willard.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger spent the weekend with relatives in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Olsen of Loyal and Mrs. Annie Dyre visited Mrs. Anna Hanson at Colfax Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hastreiter and family spent Sunday at the Harry Meske home at Thorp.

The West Side Homemakers Club will meet on Thursday, March 23rd at the home of Mrs. Otto Reineking.

Mr. and Mrs. Vin Ruzic of Union Center spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. John Verschay.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Grap spent Sunday with Alice and Wayne Grap in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Christie, Mrs. Alice Killion and Miss Jean Weston spent the weekend with relatives in Milwaukee. Mrs. Killion remained for a longer visit.

Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Amundson spent the weekend with relatives at New Holstein. They were accompanied by Mrs. Burnell Lang and children, who had been visiting here.

Mrs. Frank Prebil and daughter Sandra, Mrs. Nick Crotzer, Mrs. Jennie Koschak, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koschak and children spent Thursday evening at the I.J. Koschak home.

Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stewart called on Edwin Lange of Unity and Mrs. Harlan Brux at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Friday evening.

Alvin Schwarze, Louis Behrens and son Jerry were at Eau Claire Sunday and attended the Wis. State Championship Ski Tournament. Billy Olson of Eau Claire won 1st place.

Mrs. John Kaltinger Sr. returned to her home in Willard last Friday, after spending a week with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger Jr.

Mrs. Charles Neuenfeldt of Spencer, Mrs. Helen Francis, Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. James Plank attended the funeral of their cousin Merrill Gilman at Linden, Wis. on Sunday. Mr. Gilman passed away on Thursday, March 9th at Phoenix, Ariz. enroute from Tucson, Ariz. to his home in Wisconsin.

John and Harvey Francel spent Thursday with their sister, Mrs. I.W. Koschak.

Mrs. Albert Shanks, who spent the past three months with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. Schneider at Enid, Okla., returned home Saturday.

Miss Lila Tieman, who is taking nurses training in Milwaukee, and who received her cap February 15th, returned to her duties in Milwaukee, after spending a three week vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Tieman.

Mrs. Frank Drake returned Sunday from Menomonie, where she visited her daughter Joan and attended the Mother and Daughter Banquet on Friday evening, held at Stout Institute.

Paul Elmer of Madison and friends, Miss Helen Brown of Sparta, visited Sunday at the Chas. Markee home.

Dave Irvine visited Friday with Art Darton, 86. and Adolph Rossman, 88, at Loyal.

Miss Elaine Jolivette of Marshfield spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jolivette.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger were callers at Ladysmith Sunday.

Martin Yaniga attended an Insurance meeting at Appleton from Tuesday to Friday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wolf and daughter Marilyn of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Viv Carteron and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Froehlich visited Sunday afternoon at the Otto Schwarze home.
