Tigner, Mary Helen (2 JUN 1951)
Miss Mary Helen Tigner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tigner, Clark, S.D.,
and Leonard Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Olson, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.),
were united in marriage on Saturday, June 2nd, 1951 in the Clark First Methodist
Church at Clark S.D., by the Rev. R.M. Walker.
The bride was attired in a floor length white satin gown trimmed with lace. Her
fingertip veil was held in place by a heart shaped crown and she carried a
bouquet of yellow roses.
Mrs. Byrel Logan, Raymond, S.D., sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore a
blue formal and carried a colonial bouquet.
Delmond Olson, Greenwood, brother of the groom, was best man, and Merle Ludwig,
Clark S.D., brother-in-law of the bride, and Henry Verhulst, Greenwood, were
ushers.
Arlyes Kay Foiles, Raymond, S.D., as flower girl, wore a yellow frosted organdy
dress. Dickie Olson, Greenwood, cousin of the groom, was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from the Clark High School and the groom graduated from the
Greenwood High School with the class of 1948.
The young couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Black Hills, Nebraska and Iowa, and
are residing on a farm near Greenwood.
