Greenwood High School seniors and faculty members have selected Ann Anderegg to
receive the D.A.R. Good Citizen Award this year. The choice was made on the
basis of the qualities which go to make up good citizens, such as dependability,
leadership, service and patriotism. The seniors voted on outstanding senior
girls who were best qualified to receive the award and then the faculty made the
final selection from the girls receiving the most votes.
Ann Anderegg, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Anderegg, R.R. 1,
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), is very deserving of such an honor, as she is one
of the outstanding students in Greenwood High School. She is president of her
class and also president of the student council and secretary of the FHA this
year. In her four years in high school she has been secretary and treasurer of
her class, before being chosen to head the class this year.
Ann has participated in a variety of activities in high school. She has been a
member of the band for four eyars; has been in the pep band the past three
years, and has also done solo work. She is one of the high ranking students in
her class scholastically.
As recipient of this award, Ann is legible to compete for prizes which... (my
