The largest graduating class in the history of the college received diplomas
this year at River Falls State College at the 73rd annual commencement, 213
students were graduated.
Dr. J. Marvin Klotsche, president of Milwaukee State College, was commencement
speaker.
Dr. E.H. Kleinpell, River Falls president, conferred degrees with Dr. Chamber
Davee, resident regent, presenting the diplomas. Degrees in secondary and
elementary education were granted to 170 students with 27 diplomas in two-year
rural education granted and 16 three-year elementary.
Everett Metcalf, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Metcalf was graduated with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Agricultural Education. Theresa Krapf, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles A. Krapf Sr., was a graduate of the two year rural course in
education.
