Habermeyer, Charlotte M. (Decker) (7 JUN 1911 - 25 JAN 2015)
Charlotte M. Habermeyer, 103, Medford, died on Sunday, Jan. 25 at Country
Gardens Assisted Living in Medford.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at Hemer Funeral
Home in Medford, with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating.
Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic
Cemetery in Stetsonville.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the
time of service.

Charlotte M. Habermeyer (7 Jun 1911 – 25 Jan 2015)
Charlotte M. Habermeyer, 103, Medford, died on Sunday, Jan. 25 at Country
Gardens Assisted Living in Medford. A memorial service will be held on Saturday,
Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at Hemer Funeral Homme in Medford, with Deacon Joseph
Stefancin officiating. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at
Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Stetsonville.

time of service.
The former Charlotte Decker was born on June 7, 1911 in the town of Little Black
to the late Peter and Krezense (Heigl) Decker. She attended Dorchester area
schools.
On Oct.6, 1939, she married Thomas M. Habermeyer, who preceded her in death on
Nov. 14, 1965. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Little Black.
She also was a cook at Liberty Grade School, Medford High School and
Stetsonville Grade School for over 40 years until her retirement at the age of
75.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. She enjoyed
knitting, crafts, fishing, playing cards and doing puzzles.
Survivors include two children, Barbara (David) Dittrich of Medford and Charles
(Bonnie) Habermeyer of Stetsonville; a brother, Clarence Decker of Colby; eight
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son,
David Habermeyer; 10 siblings, George, Frank, Jimmy, Olivia, Marie, Theresa,
Rose, Matilda, and twin brothers in infancy.
