On January 27, 2015 at 2:39 pm Strub Service officially closed its' doors. We would like to thank all of Paul's loyal customers throughout the years. Paul was an incredibly intelligent man and a jack of all trades. There wasn't much Paul could not fix. He worked at a job he loved until the day he died. He was a respected member of the Community.

Paul was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed camp fires, Sunday drives with Betty, racing, watching the Packers, watching the Auburndale Apaches, loved a good bottle of beer, casino runs and most important to him was spending time with his family, friends and dogs Cobe and Tess. He was very proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed traveling to their many sporting events. He was employed by Haessly Oil for 30 years before opening the doors of Strub Service and Repair in 1993. We are going to miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife Betty, children Kathryn (Rick) Schmutzer of Auburndale, Amy (Tom) Furo of Stratford, three grandchildren Sydney, Cason and Georgi Schmutzer; two sisters Evelyn (August) Woiak of Nekoosa and Marie Humphrey of Texas. He is further survived by his ten sisters-in-law, Shirley Strub and Yvonne Strub both of Wisconsin Rapids, Mildred Schill of Wisconsin Rapids, Ann (Dick) See Wisconsin Rapids, Lucille (Emil) Oertel Auburndale, Kathleen (Marvin) Klawikowski of Wisconsin Rapids, Jane Hahn of Vesper, Mary (Dave) Jepsen of Vesper and Helen (George) Swetz of Auburndale, Sarah (Leonard) Strigel of Wisconsin Rapids and brothers-in-law Donald (Lucy) Schill of Auburndale, Tom (Lynette) Schill of Auburndale, and Joe (Judy) Schill of Wisconsin Rapids.
