Banie, Viola (Sullivan) (8 APR 1930 - 25 JAN 2015)

Viola Banie, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Three Oaks-Golden Living, Marshfield.

She was born April 8, 1930 in Wausau, daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Friech) Sullivan.

On December 23, 1954 she married Harold Banie in Wausau. He preceded her in death.

Viola had a heart of gold and loved singing and dancing. She also enjoyed flowers, especially the roses she received from Alaska.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Kathy) Banie, Ketchikan, AK, Allan (Jennette) Banie, Harold "Leroy" Banie, all of Anchorage, AK, Cindy (Brian) Graveen, Edgar and Mark Banie, Walla Walla, WA; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one brother, Jerry (Eileen) Sullivan, Florida. She is also survived by her parents and husband, Harold.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Banie, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. Rev. Robert Streveler will preside.

Friends may call Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the Edgar funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
