William and Vernon Gottschalk of Chicago, Il., are staying with Mr. and Mrs.
Tony Ulesich and visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich.
Mr. and Mrs. John Ulesich of Chicago, Il., arrived here to visit with relatives
and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. William Seliskar and family on Northlake, Il., visited here with
his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Seliskar and family and stated at their Mead Lake
cottage.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich were guests last week one day of Dr. and Mrs. James
Ulesich at Menomonie.
Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Lehto were: Miss Grace Maddente, Ruth
Wade, Evelyn Schafer, all of Milwaukee; Dorothy and Wilbert Wurori of
Brucecrossing, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lehto and family of West Bend who
stayed for one week.
Joseph Stremikis left last Friday by plane from Eau Claire to San Francisco,
CA., where he will visit there with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stremikis. From there he
will leave for Manila, Philippines, where he will join and work with the Peace
Corps.
Mrs. Mayme Kezel of Chicago, Il., and Mrs. Edward Gregorich and daughter, Linda
of Lyons, Il., are here visiting with Mrs. Mary Gregorich.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Winecke, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bergmann and Michael of
Chicago, Il.; Mrs. Emily Kneppar of Hillside, Il.; Mrs. Catherine Chmiel and Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Brunke, Cicero, Il.; were here visiting with Mrs. Louise
Bukovec, Mrs. Mary Rozick, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bukovec and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvian
Krultz and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bukovec. They also attended Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Bukovec’s 25th wedding anniversary at the Legion Hall in Greenwood.
Miss Bev Volovsek was at St. Paul, Mn last weekend.
Sherry Langreck of Neillsville is staying for one week with her grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr., were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hagen
and Peggy at Neillsville last Friday.
On Monday, Joseph Rakovec, Jr. of San Francisco, Ca., and his mother, Mrs.
Joseph Rakovec, Sr., and Theresa of Marshfield were visitors here with Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Patridge and family of Scofield had as their guests the
parents of Mrs. Patridge, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr., last Saturday.
Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Sr., were: Mr. and Mrs. Tony
Volovsek and family of Franklin; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pernic of Deerfield, Il.;
and Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic and family of Cedar Rapids, Ia.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek and daughter, Carol, left last week for Richmond, VA.,
where they will attend the Rural Letter Carrier’s National Convention. They will
also visit Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson at Virginia Beach, Va., near the
Atlantic Coast.
John Verschay, Fritz Lehto, and Vincent Ruzic were in Milwaukee last week and
took in several ball games.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Camiliere of Des Plaines, Il., visited with Mr. and Mrs. John
Verschay of Neillsville over the weekend.
Larry Reuter visited last week with his grandmother, Mrs. Ella Reuter of
Marengo, Il., and with other relatives and friends there, returning back this
week.
Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock were: Mrs. Marie Lusch of
Redfield, S. D.; Mrs. Lucille Lunka, Joseph Bayuk, Mrs. Charles Machar, Lyons,
Il.; Mrs. Jerome Stremikis and Mr. and Mrs. Herb Kippenhan and Karen of Wausau.
Joseph Stamcar of Sheboygan spent some time here with Rose Stamcar and Mr. and
Mrs. John Stamcar.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Podboy and children of Waukegan, Il., were here at their Rock
Dam cottage last week. Mr. Podboy returned back on Monday, while Mrs. Podboy and
children remained for a longer stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Machar were here visiting with relatives for several weeks
returning home on Friday.
