Coliumbia (11 Jul 1918)
Miss Ida Schultz came home from Hudson last week. She was accompanied by Mr.
Fred Mountman, who came for a visit at the Schultz home.
Mrs. Leslie Sherman and little son of Merrillan spent the weekend with her
people here.
A. Schlender, wife and daughter spent Sunday at the Schultz home.
The dance at the hall here the evening of the Fourth was well attended and all
report a fine time.
Mr. and Mrs. August Resong and two little nephews, Johnnie and Edwin Moser, of
Neillsville, came down the Fourth to attend the dance and visit her people.
Mrs. Fred Moser, Jr., and little niece of Neillsville is spending a few days
with relatives.
Misses Louise and Laura Ehlert and Josie Horak spent the Fourth at home from
their work at Merrillan.
Chas. Christofferson and daughter were Sunday evening callers at F.C. Bohnhoff’s.
J.A. Iverson and son, Roy, were at Granton Saturday and purchased a
four-year-old colt.
Miss Emily Rouse came home from Minneapolis last week and will spend the summer
at home.
Irving Twamley and wife from near Neillsville attended the dance here the
Fourth. Josephine Rouse and Legare Apfel spent the afternoon of the Fourth with
her people here.
