Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Armitage and family and Mrs. George Shummel visited at Ernie
Flick’s in Tioga Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Hannah, Ernest Hannah, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Babbe and Mrs. Louie
Barton were among the blue berry pickers over at the Eau Claire River Sunday.
O.B. Jordan of Beloit is visiting at Hallie Stockwell’s.
Earl Robinson has a new Chevrolet car.
Charles Peck and family of York Center and Mrs. Henry Wittke and children spent
the Fourth at the R.B. Armitage home.
Mrs. C.E. Demouth returned to her home in Loyal Friday after a two weeks’ visit
with her granddaughter, Mrs. Della Armitage.
Hallie Stockwell is laid up with pleurisy in his side.
Mrs. Anton Schaefer is entertained a house full of company. We failed to learn
their names.
The Fourth passed very quietly here, a few family picnics being all that was
going on. Several drove to Neillsville to attend the dance at Paulson’s garage
in the evening.
Mrs. Will Kelch and son, John, are here from Markville, Minn., visiting
relatives and old friends.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hauser drove to Heintown Sunday to visit their daughter, Mrs.
John Schmidt.
