Miss Ethel Maibe of La Crosse is visiting Miss Leona Albright.

Leo Meyers came home from Loyal Monday to spend a few days.

Leo Schroeder went to Marshfield Hospital Tuesday for an operation.

Mrs. Hattie Klauer went to Marshfield Tuesday to spend a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Neff of Dayton, Ohio, are visiting their son, Harry, and his family.

Miss Hattie Yankee of Chicago is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Simons.

W.C. Thoma suffered quite painful injuries Monday by being struck by a wagon pole.

Fred Wendt, Sr., has been laid up at his home for several days, but seems to be improving slowly.

The Voigt Bros. will give a dance at Loyal on Wednesday, Aug. 7th. Music by Clarion Harp orchestra.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson drove to Withee Sunday and spent the day and Mrs. Ole Andersen and children returned home with them.

Mrs. Otto Schaller and son returned home to Chippewa Falls yesterday after a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Huntley.

Miss Alice Frick of Two Rivers went to Rhinelander yesterday after spending a short time here with Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Eberhardt.

Misses Ella and Lillian Schuelke and Miss Martha Mitte of Marshfield returned home Tuesday after a few days’ visit with Miss Lydia Bartell.

Emil Wepfer came home Tuesday from Great Lakes for a ten-day furlough. He is in the pharmaceutical department of this great training camp and looks as though the work and life thoroughly agreed with him.

Mrs. Allen Wildish was taken to the hospital at Eau Claire last Thursday, her injuries in the automobile accident having proven more serious than first anticipated. She seems to be getting along quite nicely there and will no doubt recover in a short time.
