West Eaton (25 Jul 1918)
Mrs. A. Davey and Mrs. George Gemmeke attended the ice cream social at Herman
Olson’s Thursday evening.
Lyle Bostwick and Bernice and Gertrude Davey took in the social at Olson’s
Thursday.
Lena Murlak called on Bernice Davey Thursday evening.
The Waseca twins were seen on our roads Friday.
Gwen Borgers called on Mrs. H. Bostwick Thursday.
Bernice Davey is helping Mrs. H. Bostwick with her household duties.
Mrs. Susa and daughters attended the pie social Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Susa have received word that their son, Albert, will soon cross the
waters.
Mrs. Jake Salmenson is very sick with pleurisy again. We all hope she will
recover soon.
Mrs. H. Bostwick is slowly gaining from her sickness.
Mrs. A.L. Borgers called on Mrs. George Gemmeke and Mrs. H. Bostwick Friday
evening.
Leona Murlak called at Podobnik’s Friday evening.
