Tioga (25 Jul 1918)
The Red Cross meets every Friday afternoon at the hotel at Tioga. Everyone come
and sew or knit.
Alice Phillips arrived Tuesday morning to spend her vacation with the home
folks.
Edith Wilcox is visiting friends in this vicinity.
Harold McCune arrived here Thursday afternoon from a camp in Washington to
attend the funeral of his father, who died last Saturday in a hospital in
Chicago. Mrs. McCune and children have the sympathy of friends and neighbors
here at this time of sorrow.
Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Bedell and Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Bedell spent Tuesday with Mr. and
Mrs. John Swanson.
Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Bedell left Thursday for Redwood, Minn., to visit their
daughter.
All farmers are busy with their haying while the nice weather lasts.
Mrs. Paul Solich is helping Gus. Fredrickson with his haying.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Davis are spending some time at the home of John Schwamb.
Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Ingham and children and Vera Ingham spent Wednesday in
Neillsville.
