Tioga (25 Jul 1918)
Fred Hill and wife, C.J. Bigelow and wife, Waite Wilcox and wife, Mrs. Gilmore,
Maurice Dickenson and wife, and Mr. and Mrs. Barlgren and several others from
this vicinity went blueberrying south of Finley Sunday and all got a lot of
berries.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Bealer, Mr. Meissner, Vera Slover and August Bealer went
south Friday, Sunday, and Monday after berries.
Luther Lindow and family, Mrs. W.E. Lindow, Mr. Drescher and son, Ezra, went to
Neillsville on business Tuesday.
D. Angel is entertaining company from away this week.
Mrs. W. Lindow went to Granton Thursday and Dr. Housley successfully removed a
growth from her head, which had been troubling her for some time.
Miss Pearl Crego, who has been working for Mrs. Meissner, returned home Friday.
Haying is well under way in this vicinity, some having already finished.
Everyone is wishing for rain these days as the ground is getting pretty dry, but
it has been lovely hay weather so far.
Vera Slover went to Marshfield Saturday evening.
