Foster, Genevieve L. (Arneson) (19 MAR 1929 - 26 JAN 2015)

Genevieve L. Foster, 85, Abbotsford WI, died on Monday, January 26, 2015, at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, Abbotsford.

She was born on March 19, 1929, in Prentice, WI, the daughter of Silas and Ella (Pearson) Arneson. She spent her early life and schooling in Prentice.

She was married to Buford “Lawrence” Foster on August 30, 1946, in Yorkville, IL. Following their marriage they made their home in Owen, WI, where they owned and operated a dairy farm until the time of their retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband Buford on Nov, 2, 2000. In her free time she enjoyed planting and caring for flowers and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by 2 children: Gary Foster, Stevens Point, WI, and Renee (Rod) Pohlman, Abbotsford, WI, by 3 granddaughters: Rosanne Pohlman (fiancé Joshua Zastrow), Irma, WI, Rebecca Pohlman (Special friend Roger, Hattamer), Owen, WI, and Rhonda (Chris) Reinhart, Marshfield, by 1 great grandson Michael Christopher Reinhart, and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Buford, and by brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, with Pastor James Babler officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Ogema. Friends may call after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, at the funeral home until the time of the service.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, Abbotsford for their compassionate care of their Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Genevieve.
