Rossow, Tina (21 OCT 1890 – 31 AUG 1969)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 3 for Tina Rossow, 78, who
passed away Sunday morning, Aug. 31, 1969, the victim of a heart attack.
Tina Larson was born on Oct. 21, 1890 in the town of Warner in Clark County. Her
parents were Anthony and Ingebor Larson.
She grew up and received her education in Clark County.
On Aug. 14, 1908 she was married to Charles Rossow. The Rossows farmed in Clark
County until Mr. Rossow retired and they moved into the city of Loyal, where
they have lived for the past 12 years.
Surviving are her children: Roy, Glen, Verlin, all of Loyal; Mervin of Junction
City, Oregon; Gilbert of Milwaukee; Mrs. Lila Dankemyer, Mosinee, Mrs. Gilbert
(Beulah) Bremmer, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Schmidt, Pearson.
Also surviving are 38 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs.
Helma Salzwedal, Rhinelander.
Precding her in death were her parents, her husband, 3 sisters and 5 brothers,
and one son.
Funeral services were conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal, the Rev.
William Humlie officiating.
Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The Roycraft-Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
