Bentzler, Janet (27 SEP 1969)

The very Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at a nuptial ceremony at 12 o'clock noon, Saturday, Sept. 27, 1969, when the marriage promises were made by Miss Janet Bentzler, route 1, Abbotsford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler Sr., Loyal, and Ronald W. Fruehbrodt, son of Mrs. Louis Fruehbrodt, 107 S. Cherry Av., Marshfield.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and St. Anthony's Church Choir sang for the ceremony held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at Loyal.

As the bride approached the altar she wore a nylon over taffeta A-line Chantilly lace dress and a short illusion veil held by a nylon rose cluster. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Miss Judy Grutzik, Wis. Rapids, was maid of honor, and Miss Pat Fruehbrodt, 107 S. Cherry Ave., was bridesmaid.

They had light blue full length frocks in Empire design and petal cluster headpiece with short veils. They carried an assortment of yellow roses and white carnations.

William Fruehbrodt, 107 S. Cherry Ave., was best man. Groomsman was James Grutzik, City Point, and ushers were Raymond Bentzler and Jerry Fruehbrodt.

The wedding reception and dinner were held at the Eagles Hall, Marshfield.

The bride, who has been employed at Weyerhaeuser Co., graduated in 1959 from Loyal High School. The groom, a tavern owner, attended Marshfield Senior High School.

The couple will reside on R.R. 1, Abbotsford.
