Haeuser, George H. (22 NOV 1886 – 25 OCT 1969)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church
for George H. Haeuser, 82, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday
morning of an apparent heart attack.
The Rev. Lee Holms, Marshfield, officiated and burial followed in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
Hill Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Haeuser was born Nov. 22, 1886 at Dorchester, and was married at
Stetsonville Nov. 21, 1912, to Alma Erickson, who preceded him in death Aug. 11,
1959. After their marriage the couple lived at Auburndale and Arpin, where he
operated cheese factories. In 1919 they moved to Greenwood. He was a member of
Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Myrle Hales, Manawa; Mrs. Wilbur
Kehrberg, Loyal; Mrs. Bernard Denk, Greenwood; a son, Garth Haeuser, Torrance,
Calif., 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Knapp,
Mrs. Martha Sorensen and Mrs. Harriet Brantley, all of Burlington, Wis.; and
three brothers, Ernest Haeuser, Fergus Falls, Minn.; and Charles and Louis, both
of Canada.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
