Kuethe, Florence (21 OCT 1904 – 20 NOV 1969)

Funeral services for Mrs. Harold (Florence) Kuethe, 65, Spencer, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wm. Ruhbusch officiated and burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Ed J. Thuss, Elroy Luepke, Walter Facklam, Tom Schiro, Merlin Kobs, and Arnold Bruesewitz.

Mrs. Russel Lang sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "Jesus Lead Thou On." The organist was Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz.

The former Florence Goehring was born Oct. 21, 1905 at Loyal and received her education at Loyal schools and the Wausau Business Institute. She was married in Marshfield May 10, 1927 to Harold Kuethe, owner and operator of the Kuethe Drug Store.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Guild, and had been a member of the Women's Club and the Spencer Library Board.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Margie) Frank, Grand Rapids, Mich.; a son, George Kuethe, West Allis, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Claude Catlin and Mrs. Nellie Philpott, both of Loyal, Mrs. Hulga Shorey, Milwaukee, and three brothers, Harry Goehring, St. Cloud, MInn., Floyd Goehring, Richmond, Ill., and Walter Goehring, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.
