Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burr attended the funeral services in Colby Monday for Mrs. Mike Nosbisch. Sister Christine of St. John’s Marshfield spent the weekend with her brother and sister-in-law, the Burrs.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold McCarthy, Salinas, Ca, and one of their daughters arrived Monday to visit friends in Neillsville. They are the houseguests at the Norman Saracoff home. The McCarthy’s lived in Neillsville for several years while he was court reporter here.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein returned last Wednesday evening from a three-day trip to Duluth and Minneapolis, Mn. At Duluth, they took a harbor cruise and saw many ships from foreign countries loading and unloading cargo. The Feuerstein’s took the trip together with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Frank of Oshkosh, and seven of the Frank children.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kipp, Darlene, Paula and Jerome spent several days visiting relatives here. Their son, Donald, who had spent some time with his cousin, Tim Potter, returned home to Milwaukee with them.

William Kuechenmeister of Arlington Heights, Il., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuechenmeister. All together with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erickson, took a three-day trip to Mackinac Island, and then traveled into Canada and came home by way of Duluth and Superior.

The Norbert Berlicks and their grandchildren, and the Ray Paulsons and their grandchildren, attended a Paulson family reunion Saturday at the Morris Johnson residence in Wisconsin Rapids. Other relatives came from Walla Walla, Wa., Madison and Wisconsin Dells. Approximately 30 persons were present.

Mrs. Kenneth Duer and children of Marshfield and Mrs. Oscar Sternitzky of Lynn visited with Mrs. Lewis Wiesner Sunday. Monday visitors were Mrs. Harvey Johnson and Mrs. Ronald Schiller and daughter, Lisa of the Lynn area.

Guests at the Charles Neff home from last Wednesday until Saturday afternoon were their late son’s oldest sister and her three children, Mrs. Barbara Marin, Mitchell, Anna and David of Chicago, Il. The Marin family also called on many friends and relatives in the Neillsville and Wisconsin Rapids areas. Sunday guests of the Neff’s included Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walsted of Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Qualley and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Post and three children, Richard, Deborah and Jonathan. Mrs. Walsted and Mrs. Neff have been friends since their grade school days. All enjoyed a picnic at the Neff home.

DeWayne Dux and his mother, Mrs. Estella Dux, were in Waukesha for a few days last week. Among others, they visited with Betty and Eddie Mihelich.

Wednesday visitors and supper guests at the Frederick Kieser home were his sister and her children, Mrs. Dorothy Quade, Johnny and Timmy of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Kieser of Abbotsford. The Quades spent approximately two weeks with her parents and returned home Sunday.
