Joyce Marie Weigel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Weigel, Route 5, Marshfield,
exchanged wedding vows with Thomas Lee Luchterhand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Luchterhand, of Route 2, Spencer, on Nov. 8, 1969 at 12:30 p.m.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Brezinski at St. John's Baptist
Catholic Church of Marshfield.
The bride was given away by her father, Felix Weigel. The organist was Mrs.
Kenneth Weigel.
The bride chose an entrained gown of velvet with a Bateau neckline and bell
sleeves. Her veil fell from a forward headpiece of velvet roses, lace and
borealis crystal. She carried a single long stemmed duchess rose in royal blue.
The maid of honor was Miss Melody Ann Luchterhand, Route 2, Spencer, and
bridesmaids were Miss Sue Rogan, Marathon, Wis., Mrs. John Weigel, 11 N. Purdy,
Marshfield, Wis., and Miss Audrey Griesbach of Stratford, Wis.
The bridesmaids were dressed in royal blue empire waisted A-line gowns of
velvet, with lit blue flower embroidered appliques at waistlines, and on cuffs
of long sleeves. Their headpieces of olive green, ribbon bows and royal blue
veiling. Each girl carried a single long stemmed light blue rose.
The groom's attendants were Mr. Charles A. Weigel, Beverly Hills, Calif. (best
man), Mr. Paul Ampe Jr., Kenosha, Wis., Mr. John Weigel, Marshfield, Mr. Lyon
Luchterhand, Granton, Wis., and Kenneth Luchterhand, Spencer.
Ushers were Edward Schultz of Spencer and Paul Olson of Spring Valley, Wis.
A reception and dinner at the Eagles Hall, Marshfield, followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 1967 graduate of Columbus High School, Marshfield, and is
employed at Roon's Clinique, Marshfield.
The groom is a 1966 graduate of Loyal High School and is presently a student at
the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
The couple took a wedding trip to Chicago, and they are making their home at
5978 S. Honeycreek Drive, Apt. 1, Milwaukee, Wis.
