Monday night Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ulesich, Mrs. Wayne Foemmel and children of
Carmichael, Calif., called on Mr. and Mr. Joseph Ulesich.
Mrs. Wayne Foemmel and children of Carmichael, Calif., who spent seven weeks
here with relatives and friends left Wednesday by plane.
Ray Ulesich and Rita of Chicago spent the weekend with relatives and friends.
Mrs. Stanley Suda and Pamela, and Mrs. Lucille Lunka, returned from Milwaukee
last Friday, where they spent a week and attended the fair.
Mrs. Frank Volovsek and Linda have returned from Milwaukee. Mrs. Volovsek
visited her daughter, Mrs. Ed Kirchenberg, while her daughter, Linda, attended
the fair and won a blue ribbon on her Jersey heifer.
Mr. and Mrs. David Pozega and children of New Brighton, Mn, spent the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega and family.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pikus of Des Moines, Ia., Elsie Koehler and Hilda of Bruce
Crossing, Mi., were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Lehto.
Mrs. Marie Farrell of Milwaukee was staying with her sister and brother-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. John Plautz.
Mrs. Anna Roberson, also of Milwaukee was staying with Mr. and Mrs. Daniel
Smrecek and family at Greenwood. They also visited friends and acquaintances in
the Tioga, Gorman and Willard areas before returning. Mrs. Farrell and Mrs.
Roberson are the former Podrovitz sisters of the Tioga area.
Mrs. Anna Herrick fractured her hip last week and is a patient at Memorial
Hospital in Neillsville.
Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family of Greenwood spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Steve Plautz and family, while Cindy and Carl Plautz remained there for several
days.
Lynn and Roberta Kotcon arrived from Waukegan, Il., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Luzovec.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Winkenwarder of Watertown were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Tony Prebil and other relatives.
Mrs. Louis Matkovich and Kelly Kirn spent from Monday until Wednesday in
Milwaukee taking in the state fair and visiting with Mrs. Mary Matkovich and
Mrs. Grover Matkovich.
Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock have returned from Chicago and Aurora, Il., where
they visited relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Pozega and Sheila of Neillsville were guests Sunday of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Pozega, Sr., and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pernic and family of Williams Bay were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Ken Horn, Sr., and Mr and Mrs. John Pernic, Sr., last week.
Mr and Mrs. Mike Friedman and family of De Pere visited relatives and friends
here last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Baird and family of Stevens Point, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Parkel III of Stoughton, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel, Jr., and
attended the H. R. Baird funeral at Greenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fortuna and children of Kansas City, Mo., were recent guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fortuna.
Mrs. Joe Wene of Milwaukee is spending some time with her mother, Mrs. Theresa
Parkel.
Mr and Mrs. William Gradisher and Marie and Jim, of Westchester, Il., were at
their summer cottage at Rock Dam over the weekend.
Miss Debra Craig returned Monday from the state fair, where she received a pink
ribbon on her cow.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Smith of St. Paul, Mn, visited Mrs. Anna Herrick at Memorial
Hospital in Neillsville.
Mrs. Frank Luzovec has been a surgical patient at a hospital in Marshfield since
Thursday.
Mrs. David Koschak of Gurnee, Il., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Luzovec.
Mrs. Margaret Morrioth and Michael and Irene, of Gardner, Kans., were guests
Satruday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bukovec. They returned home Tuesday.
Michael Hieding of Sheboygan spent several weeks here with his grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ignatz Gabrovic.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Christopherson and Glen of Skokie, Il., were recent guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matkovich.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dill of Evanston, Il., spent several weeks with Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Matkovich.
