Judy Kay Kohlnhofer, 306A, Parker Street, Marshfield, Wis., daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Clayton Kohlnhofer, R. 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged wedding
vows with Michael Frank Brecht, R. 2, Loyal, Saturday, Dec. 6, 1969 at 1:00.
The ceremony was held at St. Mary's Church in Greenwood. Father Koopman
officiated.
The bride was seen in an empire gown of silk and embroidered Alencon lace,
detachable Watteau panel ending in a chapel train. She wore a veil of silk
illusion which fell from a crystal and seed pearl headpiece. She carried three
pink and three red long stemmed roses.
The maid of honor was Miss Rita Bushman, 310 Cedar St., Marshfield, and the best
man was Mr. Patrick Brecht, Route 2, Loyal.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Wayne (Joanne) Brecht, Loyal, and Miss Rita Jasurda,
Addison, Ill.
The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore gowns of ruby velvet veils. Each carried
a white fur muff with one pink rose on it.
The groom's attendants were Mr. Wayne Brecht, Loyal and Mr. Robert Kohlnhofer,
Route 3, Greenwood.
The flower girl, Linda Vick, wore a gown identical to the bridesmaids. The ring
bearer was Ritchie Kohlnhofer.
The ushers were Gene Vick, Rapid City, S.D. and Mr. Jerry Verhulst, Greenwood.
A reception was held from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Star Lodge Motel, Loyal, with a
supper following at St. Mary's Hall in Greenwood. A dance was held in the
evening.
The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School, class of 1968, and attended
Green Bay Beauty School. She is employed at Dorothy's Star Salon, Marshfield,
Wis.
The groom is employed as a carpenter at Kenwood Homes, Stratford, Wis.
The couple will reside at 1407 N. Peach, Marshfield, Wis.
